With a 12 - 2 dismantling of Tampa Bay, Oakland has now won five games in a row. The win leaves them 10.5 games out of first in the American League West. The Angels and Mariners are both winning their games as I type this, so Oakland could be 11 games out by nights end. The more important thing right now though, is that the A's are a game over .500 and now have the Majors longest current winning streak.
