I can not remember a time in my life when there has been more professional sports figures in the news for negative things than this past summer.

Being a superstar athlete was my dream growing up.  However, I was blessed with a lack of height, a bum shoulder, and the speed of the slowest member of the lollipop guild.  Since I am no longer able to play sports, I decided that I want to work in the world of sports.  If I can be the athlete, let me groom the athlete.

It seems today's athletes don't care as much about integrity and honor as they do about just winning and getting paid.  Yes, those are two nice things, but there has to be more to a person than a check book and their winning percentage.

This week I am going to start a new segment called D-Bag of the Week.  If you don't know what a "D-Bag" is, then look at the picture above and maybe it will help you. 

So for my first entry, I am going with Bill Belichick.  No, I'm not doing this because I hate the Patriots.  No, I am not doing this because people are already crowning the Patriots as the 2008 Super Bowl Champions.  I am doing this for the latest installment of "spy gate."

By now we all know that Belichick has been fined by the league and that the Patriots are also losing money and a draft pick or two.  We have all heard ALL of the talking heads on this subject.  But, what pisses me off so much is the pathetic effort at an apology.  What pisses me off even more than that, is the way Billy B tried to play the "I misunderstood the rules" card. 

Maybe I can help you out with that Bill.  The rule says "DON'T BE A CHEATING D-BAG"
