This week has been a pretty busy one for me. Just got done moving and still not settled in, but let me get these picks down real quick.
Thursday:
# 21 Florida State at Wake Forest - I was going to pick Florida State. They just seemed to be playing solid defensive football this year. They did...for one half at least.
Friday:
#16 Hawaii at San Jose State - The Warriors big in this one. Colt Brennan has struggled with his health the last few weeks, so he needs to get back out on the field and knock off the rust.
Saturday:
#1 LSU at # 17 Kentucky - I like the 'Cats, but I think they will be eaten up by the Tigers.
Oregon State at # 2 California - Bears eat the Beavers....yes, its like that today.
Kent State at # 3 Ohio State - It will take another scene like this to stop the Buckeyes in this one. Tasteless? Perhaps...
# 4 Boston College at Notre Dame - Don't get too excited Golden Domer fans...BC is good...so good, that they will beat Notre Dame...oh wait, you don't have to be good to beat them...either way, BC wins.
UCF at # 5 USF - Golden Knights get gored by the Bulls
# 11 Missouri at # 6 Oklahoma - If it was the beginning of the year, I would say OK by a TON. Now, I'm not so sure. I'll still go with the Sooners at home. I do like the Tigers' D though.
# 7 South Carolina at North Carolina - Are they deciding who is more racist of the two states? I think that would be a better matchup than this one. Cocks bruise the Heels.
Washington State at # 9 Oregon - In a Discovery Channel cage match, the Cougars would destroy the Ducks, but with Dennis Dixon at QB, the Ducks put the choke hold on Wazzou.
Arizona at # 10 USC - Matt Sanchez is starting in the place of John David Booty. So? USC wins because Arizona can't get their talent to pay attention to the game.
# 12 Virginia Tech at Duke - My vote for sleeper of the day. Wake me up when it is over. Tech wins.
Washington at # 14 Arizona State - Either Dennis Erickson is a good coach or he knew ASU would be good this season. Sun Devils continue their aerial attack and beat Washington.
Louisville at # 15 Cincinnati - Seriously, Cincinnati is 15th? I'm still taking the Cardinals even though their defense sucks more than Jimmy Claussen's arm strength.
# 18 Illinois at Iowa - I've seriously underestimated Illinois this season. They have a pretty solid running game and the defense gets better every game. Illini win, although the way things have gone this season, I wouldn't be surprised to see Iowa win.
# 19 Wisconsin at Penn State - Penn State in this one. With all the road rage and raping (allegedly), you would think the Lions would want to hit SOMEONE, ANYONE...PLEASE!
Baylor at # 20 Kansas - Aqib Talib is going to be a nice NFL player. Is Baylor good at anything besides getting beat?
# 22 Auburn at Arkansas - A battle of "Who is a bigger let-down"...I'm in like (not love) with Auburn's gritty D and since Arkansas has become even more one dimensional, I don't see it being a good game. Auburn wins.
# 23 Texas at Iowa State - Texas...only because Iowa State sucks more than Notre Dame..it's true
# 24 Georgia at Vanderbilt - The Commodores were a great musical group, but suck this year in football...dont get fooled by their record...Georgia wins.
# 25 Tennessee at Mississippi State - This game starts a rough stretch for the Bulldogs. Tennessee wins it, but could be a dog-fight?!?!?
