With the football action getting started early this week, I figured I would go ahead and make my picks now, that way I can get all the top 25 action in. After last weekend's upsets, I am not sure what to think, especially with all the big games this weekend.
Thursday:
# 8 Kentucky at # 11 South Carolina - I am hoping Andre Woodson has some more magic left for tonight's game against the Old Ball Coach and his Gamecocks. Kentucky pulls it out.
Friday:
Utah at Louisville - I know it isn't a ranked match up, but I will be interested to see if the Cardinals can get their act together this week. Louisville with the win.
Saturday:
#9 Florida at #1 LSU - After Florida's late game loss last weekend, they are looking for revenge. It will be a tough one on the road. I'm still going with Florida though.
Stanford at #2 USC - USC wins big, without a doubt. I don't think there is any possibility of an upset in this one.
#4 Ohio State at #23 Purdue - It will be interesting to see Purdue's spread offense go against Ohio State's defense. I am going with the Buckeyes in this one.
#5 Wisconsin at Illinois - After Illinois beat Penn State last week, I am not sure what to think, but I am going to go with Wisconsin's ground game over the Illini.
#6 South Florida at Florida Atlantic - No contest, USF in big fashion.
Bowling Green at #7 Boston College - Matt Ryan needs a strong showing in this one to maintain his Heisman push. BC comes away with the win.
#10 Oklahoma at #19 Texas - Oklahoma gets back on their wagon and run over the Longhorns.
#12 Georgia at Tennessee - The Vols hold strong at home and pull out the upset.
#13 West Virgina at Syracuse - Can the 'Cuse pull off two upsets this year? Um, NO...WVU runs wild in this one.
#15 Virgina Tech at #22 Clemson - Tough call. VTech struggled against UNC last week and Clemson lost at GT. I am going with Clemson in this one. I don't see them missing another four field goals in this one.
Utah State at #16 Hawaii - Colt Brennan rebounds from his worst game at UH and the Warriors kick the Aggies off the island.
#25 Nebraska at #17 Missouri - I like the Tigers in this one. Their defense has performed nicely this year.
#18 Arizona State at Washington State - The Sun Devils continue their aerial assault on the Pac 10 and dust the Cougars.
#20 Cincinnati at #21 Rutgers - The Bear Cats upset Rutgers last year, could it happen again? I'll take Rutgers at home this time.
Kansas at #24 Kansas State - After the upset of Texas last week, K-State continues their winning ways against in-state rival Kansas.

Apparently the Old Ball Coach owns UK for life. We'll have to keep that in mind next year and place a live bet. Click Clack.
