It's that time for another week of me messing up the picks.
Thursday:
# 2 South Florida at Rutgers - I had Rutgers winning. Royal Hoosier can confirm this, as I watched the game at his place.
Saturday:
Michigan State at # 1 Ohio State - While I wouldn't mind seeing the Spartans win this one just to throw the BCS for a loop, I think Ohio State wins this one.
# 17 Auburn at # 4 LSU - After a tough loss against Kentucky last weekend, LSU will be looking to bounce back, but Auburn's defense is in a groove. I'll take LSU at home though.
# 5 Oklahoma at Iowa State - Iowa State is horrible this year. Oklahoma is good. You do the math.
Vanderbilt at # 6 South Carolina - Vanderbilt gave Georgia a scare last week and South Carolina looked sluggish. If the teams play like they did last week, Vanderbilt could come away with the upset. That being said, I am still going with South Carolina.
# 15 Florida at # 7 Kentucky - Two weeks, two tough games for Kentucky. They stole one from LSU last week, but I think Florida picks up the win this week.
Mississippi State at # 9 West Virginia - Sylvester Croom has his team playing well despite their record. I don't think it will be quite enough to pull off the upset, but if West Virginia isn't on top of their game it could be a long day for the Mountaineers.
# 10 Oregon at Washington - Oregon big in this one. Dennis Dixon leads one of the most dangerous offensive attacks in the country.
# 12 California at UCLA - If Cal is missing their quarterback (Nate Longshore) again, they could be looking at two losses in a row. However, UCLA has been such a roller coaster team, you never know which offense is going to show up. I'm still going with Cal and hopefully they will win out the rest of the year.
# 13 Kansas at Colorado - I guess I'm still not completely sold on Kansas. I'll take Colorado at home in this one.
# 14 USC at Notre Dame - I was actually giving Notre Dame a vote of confidence this week since Front Butt decided to put in Sharpley and they actually have a passing game when he is in, but I still think they are about as good as a high school junior varsity squad right now. USC wins.
# 24 Texas Tech at # 16 Missouri - Graham Harrell is averaging 450 yards passing per game. Missouri is averaging 40 points per game and outscoring their opponents by 15.5 points per game. Should be a shootout. I am going to go with Missouri since their defense can actually stop people.
# 19 Virginia at Maryland - Another ACC game that could throw the conference for a loop. I'll take Maryland at home. Fear the Terps!
# 21 Tennessee at Alabama - Rocky Top vs Satan Tide...hmmm...I'll take Alabamer in this one at home.
# 22 Texas at Baylor - Texas big. Baylor is the cream of the crop when it comes to losing in the Big 12. That isn't a compliment.
# 23 Cincinnati at Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh has come a long way...to lose...all the time. Cincy wins on the RO-AD.
# 25 Michigan at Illinois - The Wolverines continue their winning streak and make Orange Juice out of the Illini.
