I'm so tired of hearing/reading/watching all this New England Patriots coverage, that it is putting me in a bad mood. Everyone is so worried about Tom Brady breaking the record for touchdown passes in a season and rightfully so.  He is on an incredible pace.  What makes people talk about it even more, is the fact that Peyton Manning has the record currently.  We all know that those two will forever be compared to each other.

The other "story" about New England is whether or not they can go 16-0.  Now, I know that a couple years ago when the Colts went 13-0, I was getting tired of hearing about it then as well.  If they do, it will be bittersweet.  I would enjoy the fact that I got to see a team in my lifetime go undefeated, but I would be mad that the Colts didn't beat them.  Who knows, Indianapolis could walk away with the win and then run the table and be the team that ends at 16-0.  I don't see the Colts going 16-0 though just for the simple reason that they will sit their starters the last couple weeks to get ready for the playoffs.  Whether or not the Patriots will is to be determined.  Belidouche might play his little game of "will I or won't I" all the way up until kickoff.  That would piss me off more because that would be the story the whole time they are going for the record.

So, I say...let Brady have the record and let them be 16-0...I'll take the Super Bowl victory again.  Because, I've been told, it doesn't matter what you do in the regular season, you still have to win in the playoffs.
