The past few days, we have lost a couple of people in the sports world.  I think it is a shame when people that haven't lived a full life pass away, whether they are athletes or not.

Joe Kennedy - The former Oakland Athletics pitcher passed away on Friday morning in his in-laws home.  The early indications are that he died from having an enlarged heart.  He was going to be the Best Man in his friend's wedding over the weekend.  Here is the full story.

Sean Taylor - Taylor, a safety for the Washington Redskins, passed away this morning after complications from a gunshot wound to his groin area.  Taylor had a troubled first couple years in the NFL, but had started to really clean up his act this past year.

Moments and events like these remind me that life is full of unexpected twists and turns.
