I was away for the weekend with my Air Force duty, so I wasn't able to post. Let me give y'all a recap of the TWO weekend wins for the Pacers.Friday: Miami Heat
Friday night was Jermaine O'Neal's debut as he missed the first game still recovering from his leg injury. He had a nice game as he finished with 10 points, 9 boards, and 7 assists. The Pacers proved that they could withstand a bad shooting night by keeping their opponent to a low scoring affair. Indiana won 87 - 85.
Player of the Game: Ike Diogu - 16 points and 6 boards in 26 minutes. He provided the spark that was needed off of the bench.
Saturday: Memphis Grizzlies
Saturday night was a bit of a more offensive game for both teams. Nearly a week after hanging 81 points in the first half against Memphis, they came back and put up 72 first half points on them. Danny Granger and Mike Dunleavy continue their impressive play as they finished with 23 and 27 points respectively. Indiana won this game 121 - 111.
Player of the Game: Mike Dunleavy - 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. He has been impressive with his shooting so far hitting 49% of his shots.
Fun Fact: Dunleavy has taken 17 shots in each game so far.
Next Game: at home against the Los Angeles Clippers at 7pm est. TV: Fox Sports Indiana / NBA League Pass

Dunleavy is a system shooter. Anybody could take 17 FGA per game in that offense. Just because he's shooting 49% and stuffing the stat sheet doesn't mean he's lighting it up. He's just an average player on a crappy team so he stands out a little more. Put him on a team like the Bulls and he might not even be the 3rd guy off the bench.
