Wednesday night marked a battle of two unbeaten teams.  The Clippers and Pacers both came in with 3 - 0 records.  I tried to live blog the game, but as the first half ended, I deleted my entry instead of saving it and then I was too mad to continue with the second half.

The first half ended with the Pacers leading 58 - 55.  The end of the first half also marked 14 quarters in a row that the Pacers held the lead at the end of the quarter.

The second half was quite different.  Los Angeles came out firing and Indiana seemed like they left their game in the locker room.  Sam Cassell had his way with whoever was defending him and ended up with 35 points on 13-20 shooting.

Indiana also had trouble keeping the Clippers off the boards.  LA held a 53 - 40 edge on the rebounding and Chris Kaman grabbed 22 total boards.  That effort had inspired me to use the headline of "Rebounding, So Easy a Kaveman Can Do It."

The Pacers were lead by Danny Granger's 16 points.  The game also marked the debut for Troy Murphy.  He finished the game with 10 points on 3 of 10 shooting.

Player of the Game:  Danny Granger - 16 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal

Record:  3 - 1

Next Game:  Friday, 11/9/2007 at Charlotte Bobcats (2 -2)  TV:  Fox Sports Indiana / NBA League Pass
