Last night's game against the Portland Trailblazers came down to the wire, but Indiana pulled it out. They used a 17 - 0 run in the third quarter to take the lead, but in the fourth they gave up their 13 point lead and Indiana had to fight the rest of the way.

Three Pacer players recorded double-doubles. Jeff Foster (11 points, 17 rebounds), Mike Dunleavy (20 points, 11 rebounds), and Jamal Tinsley (15 points, 10 assists) were all instrumental in this win. Of Foster's 17 rebounds, eight were on the offensive glass. He kept many possessions alive for the Pacers and also came up with a nice block on Joel Przybilla in the fourth quarter. Danny Granger led Indiana in scoring with 23 points and three blocked shots.
Portland was lead by Travis Outlaw (26 points) and LaMarcus Aldridge (22 points). Aldridge has a great shot out to 18 feet. He is averaging 19 points and 8 boards so far this season, and is quickly becoming the player that Portland thought they would be getting when trading for him on draft night last year. Brandon Roy almost had a triple-double as he finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists. If they had better point guard play from Steve Blake and Jarret Jack, Roy could concentrate on his play and not have to worry about running the offense.
Player of the game: Jeff Foster - 11 points, 17 rebounds (8 offensive), and 1 huge block. Foster is the main catalyst on the boards and he does all the dirty work. He has proven his worth time and time again. I am now going to change any word that has to do with rebounding to "fosters". For example, Jeff Foster pulled down 17 fosters tonight. Foster's, it's Hoosier for Rebounding!
Jermaine O'Neal games missed: 6
Record without JO: 5 - 1
Record: 8 - 8 (7th in the Eastern Conference)
Next Game: Friday, 10:30 @ Seattle (2 - 14) TV: Fox Sports Indiana / NBA League Pass
