I don't know about anyone else, but I am tired of John Hollinger and his ridiculous formulas.  Why ESPN keeps him on the payroll is beyond me.  His latest stroke of genius (sarcasm) is the "playoff predictor."  Yes, it is exactly like it sounds.  He is predicting which NBA teams will make the playoffs.  Say what??  You needed a formula to tell you who has the best chance at making the playoffs? 

His computer apparently takes the formula and plays out the remaining season games 5,000 times.  THAT IS 5,000 TIMES!!  He then takes each team's best, worst, and average record and figures whether or not they will make the playoffs.  Let me help you out John, I'll save you some time.

Guaranteed In:  Boston, Orlando, Detroit, Toronto, Phoenix, San Antonio, and Utah.

Guaranteed Out:  Minnesota and Seattle
