I figured if I got that out of my system I would feel a lot better, but I don't.  After watching the Pacers lose their seventh game in a row, I am pretty pissed off.  After playing San Antonio tight in the first half, Indiana only managed to score 9 points in the third quarter and 21 in the fourth.  They eventually got blown out, AT HOME, 116-89.

Damon Stoudamire got the start for the Spurs after his recent buyout agreement with Memphis.  He contributed 11 points in 22 minutes and seemed to grasp the offensive flow that San Antonio likes.  Speaking of flow, the Spurs had seven guys score in double figures, led by Tim Duncan's 19 points and 15 rebounds.

Indiana's bench didn't help out any and Danny Granger was the high scorer for the Pacers with 16 points. I can't really say much because I'm too mad to put all my thoughts into words.

Indiana is now 19-30 and that 20th win seems to be so elusive.

I'll never, ever get tired of that picture.

Who do you think gets the 7 and 8 spots in the East?

I think that Atlanta will stay firm with the 7th spot and then I see Chicago and/or Charlotte making a run for the 8th spot. Possibly your 76ers grabbing it.

All three teams are capable of putting together a few three game win streaks and that is all that is needed at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.

If it comes down to a team making a trade and getting in...I'll go with New Jersey. If they can get some low post play, they could be dangerous.

I like, "Sixers' starting power forward next season." That has a nice ring to it.
