I'm a few days late with these. So what? Right now, Seattle and Washington are both in first in their respective divisions, a lot will change before the end of the season. Here are my predictions.
AL East: Boston Red Sox - It was a coin toss between them and the Yankees. Pretty scientific, I know.
AL Central: Detroit Tigers - Such a loaded lineup. Hard to imagine them not winning 110 games this year.
AL West: Los Angeles of Anaheim Angels - Who else is going to challenge them in this division?
AL Wildcard: Cleveland Indians - The youth movement is growing up and ready to win.
AL MVP: Miguel Cabrera - Will reap the benefits of hitting around Magglio and Sheff all season.
AL Cy Young: CC Sabathia - Ready to improve on last season's numbers.
NL East: New York Mets - I don't see another collapse this season.
NL Central: Milwaukee Brewers - See New York Mets.
NL West: San Diego Padres - I'm looking for a weak spot on this team. Maybe left field? I don't know.
NL Wildcard: Los Angeles Dodgers - It's Joe Torre. One of his teams has to get in this year.
NL MVP: Prince Fielder - Continues to eat and continues to punish the ball, while hitting for average.
NL Cy Young: Johan Santana - So much hype around Johan this season. Between him and Peavy for this one.
WORLD SERIES: Detroit wins against San Diego in 6.
