Sense of urgency.  What does that mean exactly?  It means that there is a pressing need.  A need that is of the utmost importance.  What is this need?  It is the need to win.

Indiana has to play with this sense of urgency tonight when they play the Philadelphia 76ers if they want to have a chance to make the playoffs.  They must execute with perfection on offense AND defense.  Everyone has to know what role they are playing and they must perform that role flawlessly.  Right now every remaining game is a playoff game for this team.

  • Key factor:  Indiana needs to take control early on just like they did with Atlanta.  They can not ease up with the lead.  48 minutes of hard fought basketball is needed.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but Indiana has to play a complete game.  They have to play all 48 minutes at a top notch level.  Both teams are playing for something, so the game should be intense.  We all know Indiana can score.  Now is the time for the defense to step up play a tight game.
