As it stands right now, the Indiana Pacers currently have 16 players on their roster, with two more from last year that are still unsigned free agents.  Andre Owens and David Harrison are both waiting for contracts from either the Pacers or another team this summer.  While David Harrison is a big body, he probably will not be picked up by Indiana with the additions of Rasho Nesterovic, Roy Hibbert, Josh McRoberts, and Maceo Baston to a front line that includes Jeff Foster and Troy Murphy.  Owens is a talented backup, but with a menagerie of guards on the team already, he will also be with a new team.

The way the roster is shaping up right now looks like:

PG:  TJ Ford, Jarret Jack, Travis Diener, Jamal Tinsley
SG:  Mike Dunleavy, Brandon Rush, Marquis Daniels, Stephen Graham
SF:  Danny Granger, Shawne Williams
PF:  Troy Murphy, Josh McRoberts, Maceo Baston
C:  Jeff Foster, Rasho Nesterovic, Roy Hibbert

The future of Jamal Tinsley is still up in the air, as is the future of Shawne Williams.  It looks to me like the Pacers are more inclined to go into the season with Williams and not with Tinsley.  Maybe Indiana could still swing a 3-for-1 trade to Miami for Shawn Marion for the season.  The team would still lack an inside presence, but it would definitely be geared toward defense and running, which is what the team has stated they want to do anyway.

I'll be interested to see if the team can swing a deal or two before camp this year.
