The NBA announced all team schedules today. The Pacers have a tough road ahead of them the first couple weeks of the season.
The season is opened on the road at Detroit and then a few days later, the Pacers open at home against the Celtics. The first month is full of tough games with Phoenix, Cleveland, New Jersey (twice), Dallas, Orlando (twice), Houston, Philly, Chicago, and Atlanta.
With all of the new players on the roster, chemistry is going to be a huge factor for this team. If the new point guards can get the offense rolling, then Indiana should be OK, but if Ford and Jack struggle, it could be a long first month of the season.
Of course, the Pacers are still trying to move Jamal Tinsley to a new home and I have heard a rumor that Troy Murphy could be on the move as well. Not sure where they would go, but I'll be keeping my eyes and ears open for some news!
