The video below tells the tale of this past Saturday night at the game between the Indiana Hoosiers and Ball State Cardinals. On the play, WR Dante Love injured his spine and was carted off the field. At first glance, it looked like he might have just been knocked unconscious, but in the end, Love ended up with a much more serious injury. He was taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis for surgery to his spine.
Yahoo! had an article up this morning about his condition and it looks like Love will be able to carry on with his life, but without football.
It is unfortunate when a player sustains an injury of this kind and is no longer able to play the game that they love. Good luck with your recovery Dante!

He seems like a smart enough kid to have taken full advantage of his academic opportunities!

/bookmarked & Thanks for taking the time to write this article. Just what I was looking for

Good news about Dante's injury. Good for his life, not so much for his livelihood. Hopefully he's been making the most of his higher education opportunity and will still come out of BSU with a way to support himself since his NFL dreams are over. He might have been one heckuva pro too. Keep your head up kid...
