Tonight marks the start of the NFL season with the New York Giants taking on the Washington Redskins at 7PM EST.  Can the Giants repeat as Super Bowl Champs?  Their quest starts tonight.  Who do you have winning it all this year?  Who are you picking this weekend?  Check out TUP's Pick 'Em League on Yahoo and let us know who the best of the best are.  Here are my picks for the week:

Washington at New York Giants:  It seems like both teams are hurting up front defensively, but I'll take the Giants at home.

Detroit at Atlanta:  I'm taking Detroit for the win and for the most points scored in week 1.

Seattle at Buffalo:  I took Seattle in this one, because I like their defense and Buffalo's QB situation isn't pretty.

Jacksonville at Tennessee:  Tough game to start out the season.  I like the Titans at home.

New York Jets at Miami:  Favre to Cotchery, get used to it!

Kansas City at New England:  So Brady's health is in question.  I'm still taking the Patriots at home.

Tampa Bay at New Orleans:  I think that Sean Payton will have this offense producing quite a bit better than last season's start.

St. Louis at Philadelphia:  Coin toss.  Philly won.

Houston at Pittsburgh:  I'm looking for Big Ben to have a Big Year.

Cincinnati at Baltimore:  I'm taking the Bengals on the road.  Joe Flacco in his first start should be interesting though.

Carolina at San Diego:  LT, Gates, Chambers, and Rivers will lead the way to victory.

Arizona at San Francisco:  Kurt Warner knows how to sling the ball all over the field.  Even though the 49ers D is improved, I still look for the Cardinals to pull it out.

Dallas at Cleveland:  I'm taking the Cowboys, but Cleveland could surprise them.

Chicago at Indianapolis:  Bears.  Just kidding, Colts in this sleeper.

Minnesota at Green Bay:  Vikings are lucky to get their visit to Lambeau in the fall and not in the middle of the winter.  Vikings roll.

Denver at Oakland:  Jay Cutler will miss Brandon Marshall in this game, but Selvin Young should have a big day.

I'd love to see Favre and Cotchery hook up a dozen times this season.

I think that it is going to be a common theme this season.
