After a crazy week 1 in the NFL, hopefully week 2 is a little more uneventful.
Here are the picks:
Houston vs Baltimore - I think Joe Flacco can improve on his performance from last week and lead the Ravens to victory.
Cincinnati vs Tennessee - Vince Young is "hurting", but Kerry Collins is probably my favorite ex-drunk in the NFL, so I'm taking the Titans on the RO-AD against the Bengals.
Detroit vs Green Bay - The Packers will try and start off 2-0 against their divisional opponents.
Washington vs New Orleans - Saints are missing Marques Colston, but the rest of the offense can pick up the slack.
Kansas City vs Oakland - Damon Huard is leading the team this week against the Raiders. Could be a shootout, but I have the Chiefs.
Carolina vs Chicago - Panthers hope to have this game put away before the final seconds tick down this week. The Bears hope to continue what they started last week. I'll take the Panthers at home.
St. Louis vs New York Giants - I'm taking the Giants in this one and also as my survival football pick of the week.
Jacksonville vs Buffalo - I think the Bills can pull it off on the road this week. The Jags are hurting up front and only had 33 rushing yards last week.
Minnesota vs Indianapolis - Hometown pick all the way. Colts in a tough game.
Seattle vs San Francisco - Seattle's receivers are hurting, but don't worry, they signed Sammie Parker! I took the Seahawks in this one.
Tampa Bay vs Atlanta - Jeff Garcia is a no go, so it looks like my second favorite ex-drunk in the NFL, Brian Griese, is leading the way. I'm taking the Falcons though, their D-Line looked tough last week.
Arizona vs Miami - Kurt Warner, my favorite ex-grocery store employee, will lead the Cards over The Big Tuna's Fish.
Denver vs San Diego - I'm taking Jay Cutler and the Broncos at home against the Chargers.
New York Jets vs New England - Brett Favre to Jerricho Cotchery...again and again...Jets win this one.
Cleveland vs Pittsburgh - Big Ben's shoulder is a little sore, but with the running of Willie Parker, I see the Steelers pulling away early and Byron Leftwich or Dennis Dixon finishing the game.
Dallas vs Philadelphia - Sorry Brian, I'm taking the Cowboys at home in this one. Great Monday night match up this week!
Last week I was 10-6 on the picks and currently lead the TUP Pick 'Em Challenge. Several people had 9 correct picks and are right on my heels. We will see how this week sets the field!

Finances did not allow a trip to the Metrodome. It is too bad, the Minneapolis Light Rail has a stop about three blocks frm our new apartment and it has a terminal right next to HHHMD, so it goes, though. Who can't love the Saints right now? They have weapons on O and headmashers on D. Lovin that team, Purdue boys to the MOOOOONNNNN!
