Let me set the table.  The year is 2003 and this draft class is one of the deepest in recent memory.  You have the second pick in the draft and your team is on the upswing.  LeBron James was picked first by his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers, but you already knew that was going to happen, so you go with....

DARKO MILICIC???  Over Carmelo Anthony?  Over Dwayne Wade?  Chris Bosh and Chris Kaman even?  What a terrible disappointment for the fans of DE-TROIT BAS-KET-BALL!  By the way, that is the worst chant for any sporting team ever.  It is even worse than the obnoxious OH-IO and any chant by Boston Red Sox fans or Yankee fans, in my opinion.

Back to the topic at hand.  Darko....what can you say about Darko that hasn't been said about every big draft bust before him?  Hmmm...my mind is clouded with the amazement of taking Darko over any number of guys in this draft class.  I understand that Detroit has had a successful team despite this pick, but still, can you imagine if the Pistons had Chris Bosh down on the low post or running small with Billups (now Iverson), Rip, DWade, Prince, and Rasheed?  This team would be freaking unstoppable and I'm not even exaggerating.

But instead, you ended up with Darko...
