http://www.arinitout.com/assets_c/2007/11/dun-thumb-250x280.jpgI didn't really want to break this picture out this season, but after last night's loss, I felt I had to.  I had to get this bad taste out of my mouth.

The script was basically the same for the Pacers.  Play hard for 90% of the game, lose a little steam, let the other team hang around, lose a close one in the end.  About the only thing that was different in this one was that Indiana got burned by a lucky shot with time running out.

Indiana was up by three with about 30 seconds left and Ray Allen missed a three point try, the rebound was long and Eddie House came up with the ball somehow.  He threw it to Paul Pierce and he drained a three with a defender on him to tie the game up with 14 seconds left.

The Pacers had a chance to win it, but Jarrett Jack's three point try was way off and into OT the two teams went.  Well, like the other two OT games Indiana has played in, it wasn't pretty.  Boston came out with the win and I was pretty disappointed.  Another close game and it turned into another late loss for the Pacers.

I keep telling myself to just "Wait until Dunleavy comes back", but Indiana is sitting at 7-13 right now and they have lost some games that they just shouldn't have lost.  It really stings when you are losing games that you had opportunities to put away and you don't.

Six games isn't a lot to recover from at this point in the season, but you don't want to dig a big hole later in the season.

The team is off until Wednesday, when they travel to Toronto for a showdown with former Pacer, Jermaine O'Neal.  The Raptors have a new coach now, so I'm not really sure what to expect.
