Now that everyone has given their two cents on where T.O. is going to land, I figured that I would throw my thoughts out into the world on the subject. I know some teams have come out and said that they don't have interest in Owens, but then again, Jerry Jones said that he wasn't going to cut him in the first place. I've made a list of five teams that could be possible stopping destinations for T.O. Again, I know some teams said they don't have interest, but just wait and see what develops with this situation.
Kansas City: Now that Matt Cassell is now the QB in KC, I would think that the Chiefs front office brass would want to surround him with as many offensive weapons as possible. With Dwayne Bowe on one side of the field, T.O. on the other, Tony Gonzalez roaming the middle of the field and Larry Johnson running the ball, this team could throw up some points in a hurry.
St. Louis Rams: I see that Torry Holt wants out of the STL. Well, give him his release and go grab Owens. Let Bulger play pitch and catch with the big guy and see what happens. Bulger can sling the ball around and you know he will be looking in Owens' direction.
Oakland Raiders: T.O. in black and silver? The more I think about it, the more I think it could happen. He would certainly be the focal point of the receiving game, but with Russell's arm, I could see a lot of 7 reception, 48 yard games in the future for Owens.
New York Giants: They said they would be willing to give Plaxico another chance, so why not take a stab at signing T.O? He won't get arrested, but will still provide for plenty of frustrating post game comments! Is New York ready for T.O.?
Seattle Seahawks: Seattle can officially go ahead and cut Deion Branch and Nate Burleson now. With the signing of TJ Houshmandzadeh, Matt Hasselbeck could have two premier receivers to throw to. Plus, T.O. could then break out the bird flap when he scores touchdowns again.
