Where does all the time go?  It seems every day is getting shorter and shorter.  Between work, coaching basketball, and trying to catch up with what is going on in the world, the days are passing me by and now it is almost Christmas.  WOW

So here is what has been keeping me busy:

High School Basketball - I am now the Varsity boys assistant coach at a local high school.  I'm having fun, but it is a challenge at this school.  It's not a public school, so there are no feeder schools, which leave the talent pool shallow.  Also, with only one court it is hard to get court time with all of the teams going.  Our first official game is tomorrow night.  The team was only 3-18 last season and I think we can win 13 games this season.  It is just getting the kids to believe that now!

The Colts - Can we ease up on the slim victories for the rest of the season?  I'll take a win every game and I have faith that they will pull out the victory in the end, but my ticker is getting too much work!  Which brings me to....

THE BET - A couple weeks ago, my brother bet me $50 that the Colts would lose 3 of their last 7 games.  Actually he just said "I bet you the Colts will lose 3 of their last 7 games." To that, I said, "OK, FIFTY BUCKS!"  I was half hoping that he would say that it was too much and drop it, but took the bet.  We shook on it and now he is sweating it out a bit.  Not that he can't afford it and not that he roots against the Colts, he just hates to lose bets.  I could probably bet him money that he would never get divorced and he would get a divorce just to win the bet...that's the kind of drive he has!

Thanksgiving - yep, turkey = sleep....I was in Baltimore for Thanksgiving, so it was a bit different than years passed.

Black Friday - Everytime I hear "Black Friday" I think about this - OPRAH RITCH!

College Basketball - ESPN has done a great job of overloading my brain with as much college basketball as possible.  That 24 hour tip-off marathon...wonderful idea.  ESPN360.com is an even better idea.

Confessions of a Video Game Addict - I was bored the other day and went to Gamestop and bought NCAA Basketball 10, NBA Live 10, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for my PS3 (along with ordering my Netflix instant watch disc) and I played them all weekend, minus time for bathroom and basketball breaks.

Pacers - All I can think right now is that as soon as JOB started tampering with the lineup, the Pacers went from winning 5 in a row to losing 3 in a row and are now sitting at 6-8....and this (NSFW by the way)

Hope everyone had a great holiday and mini-break.  Back to the grind, only 25 more days until Christmas, Christmas shoppers!
