With free agency coming up, I want to focus on possible players that could be potential targets for this Pacers team. First up is Raymond Felton.
Felton should be the top priority on a long list of potential point guards for this team. While Larry Bird has stated he wants to stay under the luxury cap, Felton is the kind of player that would be worth it. Felton is a true team leader that has a wonderful ability to penetrate and dish in traffic.
A sign-and-trade deal could be worked out with Charlotte, in which Indiana could send TJ Ford to the Bobcats, resurrecting a deal that was discussed last season at the trade deadline.
Given the free agent market and the money that Felton will demand, he will most likely be back in a Bobcats uniform next season. I'll give Felton a 2% chance of ending up in a Pacers' uniform next season.
